Landscape Designer

- » Develop landscape architectural design concepts by integrating landform and planting design into creating cohesive and functional landscapes.
- » Conduct routine landscape architectural design by implementing landform and planting design principles.
- » Apply evidence-based analysis approach to develop design solutions that balance social function, practicality, context and innovation by visualizing their results with 3D software applications.
- » Create working sketches and diagrams to communicate questions and ideas within the project team, to consultants and clients.
- » Conduct cross platform integration and workflow design with Adobe Suite and 3D modeling and visualization software including Rhino, Grasshopper, Lumion, and Revit.
- » Prepare boards, slide decks, maps, plans and reports for client and public presentations.
- » Research and understand the materials, products, construction systems and estimated construction costs of the design solutions under development.
- » Assist in the preparation of project documentation packages including design development and construction documentations instruments of service.
Job requires Bachelor’s landscape architecture. Must be able to perform the job tasks, including having knowledge of landform and planting design.
