This bike lane pilot project is applicable to 100 miles of the streets of San Francisco, CA. Analysis of existing bicycle infrastructure and bicyclist concerns were used to inform necessary improvements that would make the streets safe and usable for bicyclists ages 8 to 80 years old. The pilot includes a menu of options from temporary installations to permanent structures that are applicable to a range of time frames and street conditions around the city.
